What Is Your Secret Fear?

Wanderer 1You sneak around my window
and try to lure me with a moan

I don’t respond which causes
change in volume and in tone

Not will I surrender to the fear
of those vibrations in my ear

A celebration would so delight
if you conquer my phobic fright

The conflict won’t be easily won
my grip is strong till dark is done

As lightness dances in the trees
the potent bluster now a breeze

The witty smiles behind my eyes
are lightin’ up the morning skies

A sweet tang of victory rushes in
for I have gypped the mighty wind

May Your Glass Always Be Half Full

About Maxi

Hi … I'm Maxi, a retiree with an addiction. I have quit: raising kids, cleaning house, cooking, doing laundry—there is no end the list—everything is done on "have to." The addiction? Writing to my last breath. blessings ~ maxi
