I stumbled across this some time back; can’t remember where but it’s so amazing I had to show it again.
The man sitting on the tailgate of his pickup doesn’t notice this fantastic event
The duck seems stunned as the Eagle speeds toward him at 40 mph.
At the moment of impact the duck dives and escapes, then pops to the surface when the Eagle passes.
Another Eagle joins the attack, but the duck slips underwater “just in time;” the Eagles dive in after him.
After several minutes the Eagles are frustrated and attack each other. They dive vertically, level out, and attack head-on in a game of high-speed “Chicken”.
A huge miscalculation causes 100 mph head-on collision.
One Eagle stays aloft and flies away, the other lies motionless in a heap on the water. The lucky duck survives to live another day.
The downed Eagle struggles to keep his head above water and with great difficulty manages to go airborne. Kinda reminds of us of what our country is going through.
The bedraggled Eagle circles once, then lights atop a nearby Fir tree.
His six-foot wingspread is a sight to behold moments before he soars away. May America recover this well.
May Your Glass Always Be Half Full
