Sorry I have been gone so long. August 1 David was burning with fever and I called 911. In Emergency his temperature was 103.5 and his white cell count was very low.
It was one in the morning before his fever broke. When I left David was feeling better and talking to the nurse. Still, he was very sick and had to be admitted.
The next morning I returned to the hospital expecting to take him home. He was worse. The fever was back, he was on oxygen and his white cell count was even lower. He had to be moved to the Isolation Unit.
The doctors feel it was a culmination of a urinary infection, allergic reaction and the cancer. The other problems have cleared … now David’s Kidneys have failed.
So far David has received two transfusions, three units of platelets and six units of plasma, including many antibiotics. Today or tomorrow he will begin dialysis.
I will be back but for now…
It is shower, dress and on to the hospital. These are my days. I know you understand.
We need your support and prayers.
May Your Glass Always Be Half Full
