Maxi Malone Faces Husband’s Cancer

Most of you know that my husband David is in stage 3b of inoperable lung cancer.

We got the news on February 3, 2011 and it has been a whirlwind of tests and treatments ever since.

 Space Coast Cancer Center

David had 39 radiation treatments and chemo once a week.

The tumor was larger than a golf ball but is now half that size. The part of the tumor that remains is still against the aorta and pulmonary artery.

Once David finished the treatments it took about 5-6 weeks before he began to feel better.

This whole thing started with a dry cough that wouldn’t go away. The cough came back about a week ago … I’m nervous. It’s too hard to think about writing. I need a break.

Will be back in August.

Thank you for your support and prayers.
