Taking Out the 9/11 Assassin

When I ran across photos of the terrorists who died during the take down of Bin Laden it shook me—these images were close and gory.

There were two photos I didn’t see: Osama Bin Laden and the President (past or present).

I mention this because there is a mega brouhaha brewing about whom should get credit for removing this evil cancer from the planet. I’ll tell you what I found and you can make up your own mind.

In two days of digging this is my story:

Four years ago the U.S. became suspicious of a compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. This mansion is in a military neighborhood with nearly 18 foot walls. Supposedly there is no Internet, no phone, they burn their own garbage. All communication with the outside world is done through a courier.

The place is so massive that’s how they were caught, looked like they were hidin’ someone BIG … like Bin Laden. U.S. Intelligence forces started keeping close tabs on the fortress.

Word is the leak came from Gitmo. Someone who knows someone, who knows someone, blabbed about Bin Laden’s trusty courier. The CIA found out where he lived. You got it, the compound.

U.S. forces step up operations.

The “9/11 Assassin” was identified by DNA provided by an estranged family member, a visual computer match, and ID marks from a photo.

The U.S. Navy Seals are goin’ in:

They had trained for days, now it was time to get to work.

There were four helicopters; one is lost as it hit the wall of the compound—they blow it up before leaving.

From what I have learned, a courier in the guesthouse was killed along with a woman.

When the U.S. Navy Seals blazed into the house Bin Laden used a woman as a shield. Still, he was killed with a shot to the head and chest. The woman was also killed, along with his son and two other terrorists. Bin Laden’s photo is easily available online.

Tough but never brutal, the U.S. Navy Seals place the women and children at another site while they search for documents and computers.

The entire operation takes forty minutes…

Mission Complete.

This is the short version of what took place at Abbottabad, Pakistan.

To my way of thinking, a leader who only communicates through a courier is no longer effective. So I’m wondering if this is actually true.

What do you think? Who would you give the credit? How much do you think is true?

May Your Glass Always Be Half Full

The link I placed in this post seems to
sympathize with those in the compound.
Maybe it’s me.

Next chitchat about Casey Anthony.
