Maxi Faces Another Tragedy

I’m too sad to write today. My best friend lost her daughter a few days ago … she was 36.

Jeni and I have been as close as sisters for twenty years now. A year ago August she moved near Dayton, Ohio to help her daughter.

I remember her agony as she struggled with the decision of uprooting her life here in Florida. The fear of starting over, relocating, transferring to a new work place, making new friends.

Most of all, I will never forget the night we said goodbye … it was gut-wrenching.

My heart is broken for her; yet all I can do is be here for her and pray.

May Your Glass Always Be Half Full
