Maxi Malone Discovers Answer To Granddaughters Fear

Granddaughter Brittany loves to come to our house, but is afraid to stay the night.

I tried everything: night lights, monster spray, etc. Nothing worked, so we ended the sleepovers.

Right before school started her parents got in a jam, needed us to
take her for a couple of days.

Five-year-old Brittany has her own room at our house, yet I knew it wouldn’t help the problem. Then I remembered her princess bed. It’s inflatable, came with a zippered cover and comforter. I also bought a mattress cover and pillow.

Next time she slept over we had a bedtime party:

  • We placed the princess mattress alongside my bed
  • Decided which of her animals would spend the night
  • Placed them along the edge of the bed
  • Turned on Natalie (nightlight)
  • Said our prayers

Brittany didn’t fall asleep right away, but it worked. She didn’t even wake up to go to the bathroom.

It might work for your grandkids too!
