This incident really riles me…
Apple must approve any outside software that developers make available in their stores. So, it is they who had to apologize for “Baby Shaker,” a 99-cent iPhone game. The game asks players to see how long they can endure a baby’s cries and then shake the phone to stop the wailing.
A spokeswoman for Apple said: the game is “deeply offensive” and should not have been approved for sale.
“We sincerely apologize for this mistake.”
No. A mistake is when something is done accidentally. This was done on purpose for the almighty dollar. And now Apple is playing innocent by calling it a “mistake.”
How do you feel about this? Do you share the outrage?
