We all have a breaking point and George Anthony is there.
He is supposed to be at the house on Jan.22 to meet with the attorney. The family is there waiting … and waiting. George doesn’t show. Instead, they get text messages saying he doesn’t want to live anymore. Ohmygod!!!
The police track him down using GPS and pings from his cell phone. Little Caylee’s grandpa is at the Hawaii Motel on South Ridgewood Avenue. There is beer, pills, and pages of a suicide note in the room. The note blames Casey’s friends for the death of his granddaughter. Well, wouldn’t any dad say that?
George is admitted to Halifax Hospital under the Baker Act. In Florida that means if you’re not acting rational they can keep you without your consent.
Poor guy, he used to be with the police. The day Casey’s car was found he said it had the stench of a dead body. He knew. Only he can’t turn his back on his daughter. It’s called a Catch 22.
