Seatbelts

August 5, 2008 by Maxi

“The Dark Knight” suffered serious injuries but will recover. Morgan Freeman is a clever man—he was wearin’ that seatbelt. His car didn’t roll over and over, it flipped end to end. That’s something to think about.

Years ago when it became law that we had to wear a seatbelt, I rebelled. No way. It should be our choice. Didn’t wear one for three years. Then my daughter became a paramedic. She kept buggin’ me until I finally started clicking.

It was only natural that I began to get after my husband. Now we click out of habit. Still don’t agree the law should force us; my brain just says it makes sense.
