“What’s going on with the strange e-mails?” my friend asked.
I was confused. “What do you … I didn’t send you an e-mail.”
“I didn’t think so,” she came back. “This is the second one, just wanted to let you know.”
The next day I open my mail and there’s a message from Twitter. It stated that my account had been compromised and I had to change my password.
These are the messages sent from @maxi8:
OMG ur famous now haha facebook.com
How did they get you on film facebook.com
What are you doing in this vidd facebook.com
This reveals that Facebook accounts are vulnerable; they are being used to hack Twitter accounts.
Anyone who has received one of these Direct Messages from me on Twitter, please know that I did NOT send it.
If you have received one of these e-mails do NOT click on it.
My sincere apology to anyone who has received one of these messages. I have taken care of the problem and hopefully no one else will be aggravated by this situation. This is what I did to clear my Twitter account. Go to:
https://support.twitter.com/forms/hacked
This is what you will see:
My Account was hacked or compromised.
Don’t panic! We can help.

How sad that some people have no integrity; instead of doing good their days are spent creating havoc in the lives of others.
